It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we are ready to add our own magic to the holidayseason!  Join us at The Candy Dish, Thursday Nov. 30th from 5-8pm for our annual Holiday Shopping event. Enjoy the delicious aroma of chocolate while crossing gifts off your shopping list.

Per usual, we will set the "shopping tone" for you with a little vino.  Who better than our knowledgeable Martignetti Rep, Dan, to share and teach you about an assortment of wines so that you can choose the perfect bottle to serve, gift or just enjoy. We’re back again this year at the Rise + Shine Holiday Market! Join us on November 18th from 10-3.

“Come shop with us! We have curated a collection of makers that inspire us with their talent and level of quality. These artists have something special and we are honored to shine a light on the products they have worked so hard to create. We work to bring you a range of talent by only asking one maker per “category” to attend each year. This truly allows them to stand out in their very own lane.

THE CANDY DISH SUMMER CAMPS - THE LITTLE DIPPERS

AGES 5-8 YEARS OLD: WEDNESDAYS FROM 2-4PM

CAMP DATES: 6/21, 7/12, 7/26, 8/16 & 8/23

Summer is here - want to “take a dip”? Join us for The Candy Dish 2 hour summer camp.  The campers will get to play the role of candy maker for the afternoon. What better way to avoid the heat?

We will kick off the creative process with apron decorating. Each camper will receive a white apron, we will provide fabric markers and let them personalize their apron. Once their "uniform" is ready, they will learn how to become a chocolatier with instruction from our very own chocolatier Shauna. They will take turns dipping Oreos, graham crackers and pretzel rods. After dipping, they can add additional sweetness with toppings such rainbow sprinkles, nonpareils and mini chocolate chips. While their treats are setting, we will decorate their “to-go” box.

*Gluten free options are available upon request.

(A minimum of 5 registered campers required to host the class).

THE CANDY DISH X BOARDSBYMO IN-PERSON WORKSHOP

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 7TH | 6-7PM | $90

Join us for an in-person charcuterie workshop at The Candy Dish! We will create a gorgeous charcuterie arrangement that you can package up and take home to enjoy! 


Each ticket includes: 

  • 1 hour workshop on how to create your own board with arranging, styling, and pairing tips taught by BoardsbyMo Founder, Mo 

  • Ingredient kit including an assortment of cheese, charcuterie, fresh fruit, crackers, nuts, jam, and accompaniments. As a special add-on, you will also receive The Candy Dish signature salted caramels! 


POP-UP: PERSONALIZED EASTER BASKETS

I said a hip-hop, the hippie, the hippie, to the hip, hip-hop and you can stop at The Candy Dish for all your Easter Baskets needs.  We have adorable canvas baskets that you can buy, personalize and fill for the special little one.  We have Tina DelRaso scheduled to come to the store to give your basket the added extra touch. After years of countless, fun DIY projects, Tina decided to turn her passion into a small business and provide both floral and hand-lettering services for countless special events. Give her the right pen & she can write on anything! 

Baskets are limited, so if you want to pre-order a basket for pick up anytime after April 1st, please email andrea@thecandydishco.com. If you want to come in shop, order and buy that works too.

Cost of the personalized basket is $25.


VALENTINE’S DAY TASTING

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 9TH | 5-7PM

What better way to show love than with chocolate, wine and whiskey.  It's your choice to either share or enjoy on your own, there is just so much to love.  So, what are we tasting?  We have a little something for everyone!

If you like White:  

Pietradolce Etna Bianco- 100% Carricante. Pietradolce Etna Bianco DOC is soft straw yellow. The bouquet shows lovely aromas that highlight the freshness and lovely character of this wine.Because of the volcanic soil, its mineral component and the unique climate conditions, this Etna white has the pronounced minerality and unabashed acidity typical to wines of this territory.

If you like Red:  

Jean Foillard Beaujolais-Villages. It’s a blend of carefully selected and organically farmed parcels from across the region that delivers the ultimate introduction to the area’s reds through Foillard’s quintessential house style. He takes the gorgeous hue, heady perfume, and silky texture of his structured Morgons and Fleuries and channels them through a lighter, more ethereal frame. Boasting bright and fresh flavors of black cherries, brambly fruit, and spice, this Beaujolais-Villages is astonishingly versatile.

Chateau Blaignan- Ruby dark color. Fresh, soft, and sweet ripe nose of black currant followed by spicy notes of white pepper, fresh tobacco and cedar. This medium bodied wine shows elegant tannins. It is very approachable and matches perfectly with steaks, pork loin, poultry, pasta, hamburgers, and barbecue. 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot? Sustainably Grown

If you like Pinot Noir: 

The Etude Carneros Pinot Noir is a true reflection of the winery’s estate vineyard, Grace Benoist Ranch. A blend of the best grapes from individual vineyard parcels on the Ranch, this wine tells the story of a particular vintage from a very unique place. Vivid strawberry and dried-flower aromas here with hints of sandalwood. Medium to full body with firm, creamy tannins and a tangy finish. Opulent. Tight and focused. Pumice and black and white-pepper notes. 

How about Riesling?

Red Tail Ridge Riesling- 43% fermented and aged in neutral puncheon, 57% in stainless steel. Indigenous yeast fermentation. Citrus pith, lime juice, crunchy mango, and candied ginger on the nose, with hints of honeysuckle and earthy undertones. Blood orange in the mouth, with more ginger and floral notes. Mouth filling, slight phenolic edge with talcy finish extended by a prominent acid spine.  

Whisky? Cookie Dough?  I mean talk about a Win/Win

Dough Ball - Premium Cookie Dough flavored whiskey that is 70 proof and here to pack a punch with a smooth cookie finish. Because, who doesn't love cookie dough? As a bartender's best friend, this versatile spirit can be served as a shot, hot, chilled, in cocktails or even over dessert!

Back by popular demand! The Flower Bar team is coming back to The Candy Dish to walk you through the design process of creating a beautiful holiday arrangement. It will be similar to the one pictured. 

The long-lasting winter greens arrangement is designed with different types of cedar, pine, red berries and dried rustic elements. The elements have been chosen to last for you to enjoy throughout the whole holiday season.

$100/Person: Each attendee will receive the supplies necessary to design and leave with your own Holiday arrangement. Arrive a little early and shop for the perfect bottle of wine to share with friends as you craft. Space is limited so please email andrea@thecandydishco.com to register.

Fall Wreath Workshop with Enchanted Vines

OCTOBER 13TH | 6:30-8PM

What could be sweeter than a fall wreath workshop at The Candy Dish in North Andover? Please join us on Thursday, October 13th at 6:30PM. The Candy Dish has an amazing selection of wines and sweet treats. Come by a little early and shop for something to snack on or the perfect bottle of wine to share with friends as you craft!

During this workshop we will discuss design techniques and treatments that will extend the life of this artificial wreath for seasons to come. I am confident that all participants will create a beautiful faux autumn wreath using high quality materials that you will be proud to display or gift!

There will be designer ribbon variations available to ensure that your wreath compliments your home's personal style. Hope you can join!


Free Pure Barre Class

West Coast Tasting | Wine tasting

FRIDAY AUGUST 19: 5-7PM

We are sipping and sampling all summer long. We are excited to take a “tour” of some of our West Coast favorites with our Copper Cane Wine representative, Marissa Testa. We have selected five lovely wines to share with you. Bring a friend and try some wine, our tastings are always fun!

Elouan Chardonnay: Tri-County Oregon Chardonnay

Full-bodied and supremely balanced, with lively acidity in perfect harmony with rich, round fruit. Aromas of apricot, lemongrass, and buttered popcorn set the stage for beautifully melded flavors of honeydew, melon, pear, and lemon shortbread.

Elouan Rose: Tri-County Oregon Rose

Bright acidity with firm red berry fruit flavors combined with tart, dried apricot and concentrated minerality that carries flavors of freeze-dried berries and clementine rind through the long-lasting finish.

Elouan Pinot Noir: Tri-County Oregon Pinot Noir

Harmonious and elegant on the palate with firm acidity. Red plum, dusty earth, and a hint of sweet tobacco, with hibiscus and a soft green tea on the finish. 

Boen Pinot Noir: Tri-County California Pinot Noir

Bursting with bright fruit flavors of cherry, strawberry, and blackberry, this Pinot Noir is very well balanced with hints of cocoa and caramel on the long-lasting finish.

Belle Glos Clark & Telephone Pinot Noir: Santa Maria Valley, Santa Barbara County

Rich and lively with crushed ripe cherry, cranberry, and blueberry pie leading to a warm finish.


Sip & Shop | wine tasting

THURSDAY JUNE 23: 5-7PM

Sip and shop or shop and sip… either works. Summer is here, now we need to figure out what pairs well with the beach, the pool, vacation and the firepit. We have got you covered in all those areas in terms of the perfect outfit and the perfect drink. We are thrilled to host our first Sip & Shop with two of our favorites! 

Injeanius is coming back by popular demand. She has so many options in her collection that will make you excited for your summer outfits. Fun dresses, tops, jeans and accessories to get you ready for all things summer.

At the same time, we will learn more about wine from Dan, our favorite Martignetti Wine Rep. He will walk us through a few types of Rose, he will also share EnRoute Pinot Noir, along with Napa Far Niente Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon.  

It is a can’t miss event. See you there!

NuImage Entertainment and Quinlan Homes are partnering with The Candy Dish and Jaime’s Restaurant to bring you Candy and Cocktails.  

This fun night of amazing cocktails, sweet treats, challenging trivia and fun entertainment is brought to you by a few of your favorite local businesses. The added bonus: $10 from every ticket will benefit Voices of Hope, a non-profit supporting the Mass General Termeer Center in their battle against cancer.  

Grab a date or a group of friends and join us as we learn from our favorite Jaime’s bartender how to make 4 amazing cocktails. In between mixing and sipping, you will have the opportunity to test your trivia knowledge and win some awesome prizes.
