Meet the Author:  Infinite Miracles with Katie Simons McCarty

How does this sound to you: a heartfelt inspiring book, great wine, lovely cheese and decadent chocolates?  Sounds like the perfect ingredients to a wonderful evening. North Andover’s’ own, Katie Simons McCarty, the author of Infinite Miracles will join us for a Meet the Author event.  Katie will read an excerpt of her book and have books available for purchasing and signing.  You get to listen, sip, taste and shop.  It is a good opportunity to do some early Mother’s Day shopping for you or your mom.  

Infinite Miracles, Katie Simons McCarty:  Katie, a first-time mom at age thirty-seven, was ready, excited, and determined to perfectly balance her career and motherhood.  When she learned about her son’s rare fetal diagnosis of an omphalocele, she was stunned. Katie entered the Stages of Grief Club and surrendered expectations of the perfect motherhood and the perfect child.  Little did she know that her personal transformation had just begun.

PRIVATE EVENTS: Let's Meet At The Candy Dish

Looking for a swanky new space to gather for a birthday, meet with your book club, create a team building experience or an excuse to just have some fun with friends? The Candy Dish is your spot! We are now available to host private events.  We will work with you to decide if you want to sit back, sample wine and chocolates or roll up your sleeves and learn how to make the chocolates.

Sweet Treat Birthday Package

Come celebrate your birthday and make sweet memories at the Candy Dish. It is a perfect setting to enjoy with friends while seeing, smelling, dipping and tasting chocolate!  But first, we need to determine, Big Dipper or Little Dipper?

*Not all dates are available. Availability is subject to change based on high demands for the holiday seasons.

Big Dipper Party - This package is best suited for ages 13+. Includes up to 8 participants.

• 90-minute private rental 

• Chocolate Dipping - Each guest will learn how to become a chocolatier with instruction from our very own chocolatier Shauna. The activity will include dipping of 3 different items and then adding toppings such M&M, chocolate sprinkles, nonpareils and mini chocolate chips.

• Gluten free oreos are available upon request

• Once set, the dipped items will be nicely wrapped and packaged for each guest to bring home

• Gloves with be provided

• 2 large cheese pizzas 

• Beverage station with waters

• Napkins and paper plates

• Sound system for your choice of music

• A Candy Dish party helper to assist with pizza and cake (gratuity is not included for the dedicated helper)

The base package is $625.  We can customize based on your choice of items and the number of items to dip.

Little Dipper Party - This package is best suited for ages 5-12 years old. Includes up to 12 participants.

• 90 minute private rental 

• Apron Decorating - Each child will receive an apron and materials to decorate and personalize their apron

• Oreo Dipping - Each child will learn how to become a chocolatier with instruction from our very own chocolatier Shauna. The activity will include Oreo dipping (3 per guest) and then adding toppings such as M&M, chocolate sprinkles, nonpareils and mini chocolate chips.

• Gluten free oreos are available upon request

• Once set, the oreos will be nicely wrapped and packaged for each child to bring home

• Gloves with be provided

• 1 large cheese pizza (double cut for 16 slices) 

• Beverage station with waters

• Napkins and paper plates

• Sound system for your choice of music

• A Candy Dish party helper to assist with pizza and cake (gratuity is not included for the dedicated helper)

The base package is $425.
